Hi Annette, Thank you for your unkind review however telling the truth is always helpful. Firstly we would like to clarify that we did not blame Expedia but we highlighted and showed you on Expedia's website that when you make a booking it comes up with the cottages and shows you what is available for the selected dates and the cost for you to select with there own individual photos and descriptions, this is because you were trying to say you booked a cottage with a fireplace and we had given you something different. We explained that when you book a cottage we do not allocate them because they are all different and the one you select is the one given to you. So the one that YOU chose was given to you and the one you chose did not have a fireplace so unfortunately this was neither our fault nor Expedia's. When explained this your husband stated that "well you would just assume in this area that all the accommodation places around would have fireplaces in all the rooms" which is not the case and not just with us. You also just booked the base rate and not the rate that includes breakfast hence why there was no breakfast. We did come and see you as stated as you complained the tv wasn't working and you were trying to use the portable recharge internet dongle but it was not working and was this the way we always leave things. When we arrived you complained that it was cold in the cottage and the heating was not hot enough so we turned the split system up for you. The tv was working but because all of the area does not get digital signal everyone relies on set top boxes for tv and this was set correctly prior to your check in with instructions about having 2 remotes 1 to turn tv on and the other to change the channels but you did not follow the instructions and changed the channels with the wrong remote losing the signal for the set top box which is an easy fix. The internet dongle you plugged in but did not turn it on and once we turned it on you were able to connect straight away. Lastly the spa jets are all in working order and it was evident by the state you left it that you had used it with the jets running.
