This was our second stay here and it was as good as the first. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. We really like the location too. It's walking distance to both Hancock and Houghton, river front walks and trails.

Positives: Cabin was recently built and clean. Full kitchen and refrigerator was nice, as was the full washer dryer and in room sauna. Bed was comfortable. Negatives: Heat didn't turn on overnight and needed to set it higher to get it to turn on in the morning. Bathroom door is difficult to close. ...

The patio area was nice to sit at and enjoy a fire. There are plenty of wooded areas for privacy and dog walking. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable cabin. Our only negative was the sink situation was awkward as far as size of sink and faucet and lighting.
