We arrived to find that our reservation for handicap accessible room was not available even though we had already paid. The elevator is not working and I’m unable to climb stairs - the staff offered us a different room on the ground floor - this room had 2 beds which we didn’t need and bathroom was not handicap equipped - the metal bed frame stuck out beyond the mattress several inches becoming a trip hazard - they also charged us extra for this room since it had 2 beds but since it was on the ground floor we went ahead and took it. This is the 2nd year that our reservation has been messed up - we won’t stay here next year - we will either stop before Semmes or drive further into Mobile.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. It did not have a fitness room. It was full of matresses piled to the ceiling.It was not a hot breakfast buffet as advertised. There were not plugs for sink or tub.The tub was slick.The man at check in was helpful & friendly. The breakfast attendant was not friendly.

While the front desk clerk was nice and did help resolve some of our problems, housekeeping had not done their job. The bathroom floor was sticky, no tissues, only about 1/4 roll of toilet tissue and someone’s leftovers were left in the refrigerator.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel! The elevator did not work, I was told it’s been out for several days with no plan to fix it anytime soon, both bathrooms in the lobby were out of order, so we could not use the bathroom while we were waiting to check in, it’s advertised to have a 24 hour fitness center, but that is false advertising as the fitness center is nonexistent as it is filled with furniture, the air conditioner is extremely loud and we couldn’t sleep, the floors above have zero insulation, we could hear every movement the person above us made. I went out for breakfast at 8:00am and there was NOTHING left. I was told it was “all gone” and then told “the cook didn’t make as much as they were supposed to” but by 8am there was no sign of any breakfast at all, it had already been completely “cleaned up” (leaving me to believe there was never any breakfast at all). Extremely disappointed, worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I travel the country monthly, we will never be back at that hotel, which is a shame because we make the trip to Semmes, Alabama several times per year to see family. Simply put, this hotel is NOT AS ADVERTISED. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
