Can’t beat the location! The reason for the 4 star rating for the hotel room on the 3rd floor was because of the awful smell in the bathroom which I assumed is from sewage system. I contemplated requesting a room room change but we were only there for 4 nights

The hotel was clean, the rooms were large with comfy beds. Bathrooms were clean and had a great shower. Onsite laundry was very helpful. I would stay here again.

The Nohga Hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 21 day trip to Japan. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Kyoto. Great location and hats off to everyone working there. What a delight.
