「Totally wrong booking. We were searching and trying to make the booking of Jasper. How could it go through to this hotel? And there's no email address for us to contact...So sad experience.」

「The whole property was 'TIRED'. First think noticed, was no automatic/accessible button to open doors. Difficult to manage luggage and hold door open. Sign in was good. Room was big. Bathtub had hair in it. Tile grout was dark and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. No comfortable chair. Only one at desk. Huge vacant space available for chair or table. Black out drapery was torn. TV reception was not clear at all. We had a supposedly 'Executive Room'. It sure did not seem so!!...

「Hotel was perfect, I was here for business and only needed a place to sleep. Room was big, included all the amenities and was close to anything I could need (restaurants, groceries). Staff were friendly. Check in and checkout was very easy.」

「It's unfortunate that a property like this has not been kept up or improved to take it up a notch or two. Great, scenic location off the Rideau River. Beautiful river views, but the building is old and needs some TLC. It was okay for a nights sleep, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to spend some holiday travels in the area and quiet time on the balcony looking over the river. Much potential, but it's aging away.」

「Not only is this a delightful heritage home, but the hosts, Rob and Liisa are wonderfully welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. Lanark is a bit of a backwater, but Perth is nearby with an abundance of places to eat and shop. We highly recommend Clyde Hall!」

「Rooms were very clean and the beds were well maintained. The mini-fridge and microwave in each room were nice and useful. AC/heater was easy to figure out. Owners were lovely and helpful during check-in. It's just outside of Perth, so there's only fast food nearby unless you head into town. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay!」
