"I’ve stayed in this hotel several times in the past 15 years. Each time the hotel seems more run down than the previous time. Staff: I ride motorbikes and years ago was allowed to park in the alleyway down the side of the hotel. Upon asking this time, the helpful girl at check in told me she would ask if that was possible and in the meantime to park my motorbike in the lobby. I thought this was odd but as I was invited to do so, I did so and incurred the misplaced wrath of the manager, Dan Jones. Although I didn’t want to get the staff in trouble, I didn’t appreciate being put in that position and the counter staff need training. The room had a blown lightbulb over the bed which I ended up changing myself (2 minutes work for a staff member that cares) and the shower insisted on pure hot water for 15 minutes without any cold coming through. Not really sure what that was about. The rail that the shower head clips to was falling apart. It seems things are not being repaired at this hotel and I won’t be staying there again as prices aren’t competitive when you have to factor in a $30 fee for overnight parking and walking 4 blocks to the carpark."

"it's in a good area close to shops etc , it's not a luxury hotel but my room was clean , a nice view, and the price was fair. It's basic but I would stay again as you can walk to most everywhere "
