This was the most charming, hospitable, beautiful and unforgettable Ryokan in Japan! The meals were so well thought out and crafted. Every little dish was delicious. We felt the care and love from the kitchen. We stayed in the room with a private onsen. Highly recommend this place.

A beautiful inn in the heart of Kurokawa Onsen, just steps away from the shops and the Information Center. The grounds are beautifully appointed, and the selection of private chartered baths is wonderful. The public baths are spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere is quiet and elegant, so if you are looking for something more casual this may not be the place for you; but if you want a luxury experience this is it.

This is the best onsen hotel I have ever tried. If I can give them 6 stars, they deserve it. Not only service is good, food, decoration and amenities, as well as onsen are far more beyond my expectation. I would love to come back again.
