「A wonderful older hotel and restaurant. I stayed in the tiny single room - this is not a complaint, it’s a great little room for one person. Some people in reviews have complained about road noise - they should be realistic about their expectations. It’s an old property right next to a road. If you are someone that’s sensitive to road noise」

「We had a lovely stay at this Inn. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was great. All the staff we came across were friendly and professional. The breakfast was amazing (Full English) with really fresh quality produce in a wonderful setting.」

「Friendly place and lovely setting. A good location for us. Food was gorgeous and really reasonable. Lovely breakfast. Staff were really helpful and chatty. Great value for money! Only down side was there was no lift. Stairs a little steep - I travelled with my mum who is in her 80’s and she found the stairs a little hard. 」

「Close to motorway but tucked away from any noise. Large car park, large pub and lots of amenities on your doorstep. Limited Internet was my only problem but it may have been due to the storm.」

「Had a lovely stay for 2 nights at the Red Lion. The owners and the team and extremely friendly and helpful and added to the enjoyment of our stay. The breakfast each day was brilliant, with lots of choices to suit everyone. The room was nice and we all found the beds very comfortable. The location is in a really nice, peaceful and quaint little village, which is really nice to walk around and look at the historic buildings and lots of thatched roofed cottages.」
