La Locanda is the perfect place, tucked away from the hustling, bustling streets of Milan. Our stay was incredibly comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. The location is superb! So close to the central station, the Duomo is walkable. We walked everywhere, enjoying the weather and the walks instead of taking the Metro. Our host was incredible! He was so very personable and wonderful at communicating in advance and during our stay. He made our stay in Milan excellent and would go back for his service alone.

Really awesome little cozy B&B in the center of Milan. Family run. The owner lived in the US and knows expectations of a traveler from the US market very well, speaks perfect English, very helpful, and responsive. Will stay again if I ever come to Milan.

It's a great place to stay in Milan. It's near touristic places, metro and train stations. There are lots of places to eat nearby and also a good grocery store. Giulio is very kind and helpful.

Excellent and safe location. Will definitely come back. Very lively neighborhood, with great restaurant choices for all kinds and all budgets. The rooms are located within the courtyard of a building, with a gate, which makes it very quiet and safe. Couple minutes of walking distance to the Metro and Tram stations. Short walk to Duomo and the local attractions. Our host Giulia was fantastic. Very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations on local attractions and restaurant choices and provided us with a map that shows all local transit options, which was very helpful.

Funky in a lively neighborhood

This property is super - IF you like funky and different. If you are expecting chain hotel kind of luxury, look elsewhere. Nice to have a human for check in and to find a hairdryer for me. The stay was too short stay; I’d do it again! It was a gorgeous spring day so the entire neighborhood was crowding the cafes. Lovely to dine among regulars, with fewer tourists.
