「We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. 「Very nice and friendly Owner. Although it was a bit difficult to find, I really enjoy the cabin. Highly recommend to friends if they come to Tasmania. The nice Lake view was great. It was a pity I could not stay longer to such a peaceful accomodation.」

「We stayed in the house and not a cabin. Facilities in the kitchen and bathroom were good, and the bed very comfy. Clean conditions. Very quiet area. BYO extras like tea/coffee, soap/shampoo though. Thanks for the stay - Deb was courteous and helpful.」
