Ocean Casino Resort

"The Ocean Resort was a refreshing experience! The resort in many ways reminded us of a cruise ship. The grounds are lovely, the view outstanding, aesthetics relaxing. We worked with a wonderful, personable, caring, friendly check-in representative named Jalissa. There was a problem with our reservation even though we had received our confirmation. The deposit made was never applied by Expedia with the hotel. Without the dedicated efforts of Jalissa working with Ocean Resort managers our reservation was NOT going to be honored. We drove 4.5 hrs. so this would have been a disaster. This was our first time using Expedia. Not sure if we will just be going directly through the hotel in the future for reservations."

"Place is good. Not great, not awesome. Nasty smell on the ground level. Room was mostly clean. Lots of details are missed. Stains on the carpet, burn holes here and there. The outside of the windows are filthily. I know it's a high rise but they need a good cleaning. Having a hotel next to a beach is hard to maintain, other hotels can do it. Overall my stay was nice, and I would consider staying there again. Always depends on the price. You get what you pay for."

"Staff at check-in and check-out were all very nice. During our stay, any questions we had were all graciously answered. Loved that there was a separate baggage check to keep our luggage safe when we had to check out, but a few extra hours before our flight back home. The uber shuttle pick up spot is conveniently right across the street from the hotel, and the hotel is perfectly located in a nice, central location to Times Square and Central Park, along with tons of excellent pizza spots. Very nice hotel with amazing views, would definitely stay here again!"

"This was my second time staying at POD 51! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! The staff is amazing, the location is wonderful, and affordable parking is available just one block up next to a Police station and Fire Station. The room was cozy and quiet. It was the perfect location for most of the activities we had planned. This is my hotel of choice when in NYC! Will definitely be back!"
