We stayed here for over a week and were immediately double charged for our booking. When I first reported it to the front desk, the staff member dismissed it and said they would look into it. The next day he asked me to write down my bank account information on a piece of paper so they could transfer the refund, which was odd since they already had my card from the Expedia booking. The following day another front desk employee, possibly the manager, told me they never needed that information, which was more concerning.
He then asked me to cancel the dispute with my bank before the refund was issued, which felt shady. During the last five days of our stay, he called me to the front desk every time we entered or left the hotel to repeat that the refund had been approved and ask me to notify them when I received it. I had been very patient, so being repeatedly stopped about the same issue daily became uncomfortable.
It has now been 9 days and I still have not received the refund.
The room itself was clean, but housekeeping did not restock basic items. We were given about 1/4 roll of toilet paper for an 8-night stay and had to ask multiple times for more. The shower constantly alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold.
The hotel also advertises a washer and dryer, but when we found them in the garage they were broken, so we had to go to a laundromat. The treadmill in the gym was also broken.
