Perfect place to stay in Metzingen

A fantastic stay in the middle of Metzingen. We had an early start of our departure, so this place was perfect. Very nice room, good and clean, with everything we needed.

I stayed there with my family for a weekend in the Outlets and I have to say that it was perfect as the Outlets are walking distance. The room is so big and spotless that we will definitely stay there in our next visit to Metzingen.

We stayed one night at Hotel Residenz Luxury Apartments in July. Unfortunately, our car was vandalized while parked in the hotel’s parking garage. We reported the incident to the police together with the hotel and are currently waiting for the hotel to provide security camera footage and handle the matter through their insurance. Despite multiple cameras in the parking area, we have still not received any footage. A very disappointing experience so far. We hope the hotel will resolve this properly and will update this review based on the outcome.

“Luxury” in Name Only The only luxury experience here is the word “Luxury” in the property’s name. Be aware that this is not a traditional hotel. These are apartments located in a commercial building. There is no front desk, bell service, restaurant, or breakfast. Guests retrieve their keys from a lockbox near the entrance. I booked this property because it was advertised as luxury apartments, and I was willing to pay more than I would have at other nearby hotels. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. My room was very small and had only the basics: a single bed with a small blanket and one small pillow, a tiny desk, and a TV. Nothing about the room or the overall experience felt luxurious. My advice is to skip this property and choose one of the more affordable hotels nearby. You will likely receive better value and a more complete hotel experience.

Meine kleine Pause
