We arrived late and hungry! The mature was kind helping us with our luggage and even proposed a solution for our skipped dinner! The next morning at breakfast the lady of the house gave us advice on visiting various palaces in the area before we set off for our adventures. Breakfast were excellent featuring Homemade jams quince, pear, lemon curd!, honey daily baked goods and egg dishes, along with the usual breakfast fare of croissants and baguettes. The auberge is situated in a Lovely garden / park.

Ganz besonders passendes Ambiente in kleinem Hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos Sainte-Marie and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It offers a truly authentic Loire Valley experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of local charm. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and very private, and the location is ideal — close to most of the major Loire Valley castles. Breakfast was simply outstanding — the most delicious we had during our entire trip in France. Fresh, generous, and clearly prepared with care. If you’re looking for a great base to explore the Loire Valley, this is an excellent choice. We would happily stay again and recommend it without hesitation to anyone wanting a memorable and comfortable stay in this beautiful region.

Un endroit a recommander. A place to recommend!

Quant au propriétaire, accueil parfait A nice and lovely property from the XIXth century but fully renovated. The park and the swimming pool bring a nice romantic favour to the stay. Last but not least, the breakfast is a real one. The owner is a discrete but perfect host'
