"We just got back from Crete. The Royal Belvedere Resort offers various pools, dining and recreation options for couples and families. We really went for the Olympic 50 meter swimming pool. We swim laps and this was a challenge as our regular pool is 25 meters. Also we went a little off season. Food was good and plenty of it. We also took a taxi to the Old Hersonissos village and walked back. My wife had a great time shopping by the beach area shops. We will go back."

"Very nice property. Location is a little out of the way, so definitely rent a car OR see about renting the car they have on the property. We went March 25-31 and most of the restaurants and stuff around the resort were closed. Food at resort is good, but some restaurants 30 mins. away are amazing. Tons of cats around the property so don't go it allergic. Would go back. "

It benefits from being a smaller hotel, when compared with some of the adjacent properties. We stayed in late October, so the hotel was naturally quieter, but there was still plenty on offer for guests, and particularly for families. We had an issue the first night with not getting the room with sea view which we paid for, but the staff went out of their way to get that corrected and we were placed in a room with the sea view the next night. "One of a kind, excellent! This was our 4th visit over the last 7 years and the facilites, decor and food just keep getting better. The setting and interior is stunning, its luxury but also familt friendly so everyine wins. Go for the all inclusive option and you will genuinely be delighted with the variety of food options, drinks and restaurants. It's genuinely become our happy place and very hard to beat, its become the reason why we work! (We are 2 adults and 2 children under 7)"
