Warning- not safe.
I’m amazed the Hotel.com had this as one of their listings. I can say that it’s truly to worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The photos are misleading, as they show a very much younger, well kept resort. The hotel is run down, dirty and very hazardous. It is not safe place, clean or hygiene and clearly there are absolutely no safety measures in place. The photo says it all.

old hotel managed pretty well with all the facilities functioning, wifi only works at the lobby reception. located in quite part of town in from of the green park.

Good Location
This is the old school hotel. But the hotel located at the Mersing town. So easy to get anything during the trip. Breakfast pack not so bad. Understand during Covid-19 pandemic, the hotel take precaution so that it is under control.

Value for money Budget Hotel stay.
Value for money Budget Hotel stay. Was surprised by the cleanliness and good air conditioning of the room. Breakfast, though with not much variety was with deliciously good.

Property is 1km away from town. That is their only saving grace. Property is seriously outdated, dilapidated and falling apart. Rooms were not cleaned properly and everything in the room was dirty and moldy

I came again to hotel seri malaysia after 10 years..iam really dispointed.. they didnt clean my room properly.. a lot of coackroach ( dead coack) everywhere..they didnt clean rubbish from previous clients.. Really dissapointed.. pls pls... improve ur services.. the location is very good.. near to the beach.. n from room, u can see the beach.. So... pls make something before other clients make complaint like me..

The hotel is an old hotel and need to do some restoration. Sugestion 1. Renovate the toilet or replace the shower area. Can also renovate so that it look modern 2. Replace room carpet with a new one 3. Paint the room, put some painting so that it look more vibrant 4. The breakfast is just basic to add more fruit, food and etc

This is my second time after 4 years. Nothing changed unless it's like a rotten hotel. However, the breakfast is just nice. If you are not comfort, just take your car and find other warung around the hotel.

Check in was fast and the room was ready for early check in. The property is rather old and need a touch up. Comes with a large pool and suitable for family. Located opposite the Mersing Hospital and beach side. Designed parking area.

Beautiful Mersing
Went to Mersing in end September 2015. Everything is falling apart, this place needs renovations, period. Otherwise Mersing is beautiful, but we went to Air Papan to enjoy the beach, much cleaner sands.

The rooms are not as shown on the site. No WiFI in the Rooms. Only after I took it up with the Manager did they give us better rooms - No Bell Boys / Help to take Luggae up two floors - No lift. When we arrive as they were having a Banquet Function we were informed that there would be no Alacart Dining and hence we would need to fend for our selves. Becuase I took it up with the manager about the room condition, They had their sales manager take us to a good restaurant in the city for Dinner. Location is good if you need to take the Ferry from Mersing to the Islands.

Good location but not value for money.
This hotel has good impression with quite expensive rate, but in the room, there was old smelled, with some crack. The bathroom the worst condision with lack of toileteries and not in good condition water heater. The TV was the worst part, with only 2 channel (even 6 of 7 free to air Malaysian TV channel cannot been viewed) and the signal not well (ironicly, TV in lobby was great)... The breakfast was so-so. I believe the rate for this hotel suppose only less than RM50 not as published. (I stayed two week after this stay, but it happened worse).

We had an overnight stop so didn't take advantage of all the facilities such as the pool. Very relaxing setting with plants & also homely feeling. Certainly to be recommended for families.

it'll be our last choice
We booked a family room which was on the 3rd floor with no lift service. We had to climb the staircase with small kids. A very quiet and isolated place as is no one except only us on the top. I was told that there was a problem to a tv service while I checked in. It seems like they have no other choice except the room. What a bad experience for me n family.n

Ridiculous hotel in complete decay
Don't trust any of the pictures shown on the website. This hotel needs serious renovation at all levels. Room smells musty and looks shabby. Not convenient for an international traveller used to minimum standards of hospitality.

Hôtel non conforme à la description Hôtel.com n a pas du le visiter depuis longtemps Hôtel sale j ai refusé la chambre que l on nous donner pour son humidité et son manque de propreté le personnel a été très agréable et m en a donné une autre guerre mieux C est hôtel.com qui doit revoir cet hôtel et le supprimer car pas digne d eux
