「Sehr gutes, vielfältiges Frühstück !」

「Arriving by train had to ask how to get to hotel as having NO working handy coming from oversees . The access to hotel very steep and a challenge using a walker (rollator), however it was very nice of the receptionist/manager backing down a car to manage the steep hill, although there are 45 steps to use. Later on enjoying a beer/wine in the very quiet lobby using the rocking chairs. To explore Meissen, we used a taxi from hotel - called by staff - to the Dom and from there a sight seeing bus...

Lage top, Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück sehr gute Auswahl, Zimmer groß, gepflegt, sauber und gut ausgestattet mit Möbel, Technik, Beleuchtung, beeindruckend das Badezimmer mit 2 Waschbecken und Badewanne mit Dusche, klasse Vergrößerungsspiegel mit Licht. Merkwürdig nur das die Kleenex Box an der Wand hinter den Badetücher hängt und nicht logisch am Waschbecken und Spiegel, dann der Seifenspender hängt an der Seite über den Boden anstatt direkt mittig über die...

「Internet was very slow. Staff, not great. Nobody works during the night. Freezing cold rooms and when trying to put the heaters on, they don't work. You have to sleep with scarves and jackets on. Breakfast is terrible. Bathroom door is made of glass and the bathroom has a window towards the living room, with the blinds on the living room side of the glass. Personnel always makes sure that you know when they are closing or leaving. Pillows are terrible also, and bedding had a humid feel.」

「Spectacular location and an absolutely charming hotel. Room was massive and breakfast was great. Top tip - if you want to eat dinner at their restaurant (and you do - delicious) make sure to book in advance. Also, if you're considering just doing a day trip to Meissen instead, don't. Stay at least two nights. This town is spectacular.」
