The Colombians are big supporters of soccer and watching a soccer game of Medellin Independente or Nacional in the Estadio in Medellin is a very special experience! 90 mins of singing, jumping, playing the drums and supportung the team. Be careful to go to the South or North area in the stadium, that's where the very extreme fans are. Seats in the Occidental and Oriental area are good places to watch the games.

Such an impressive mall. With the heat that we struggled to adapt to in Medellin, we often found ourselves seeking out the comfort of air conditioned malls. While this traditional meal can be found all over the region, this spot in the garden's cafe is a great urban oasis where you'll hear more birds than buses. What is a bandeja paisa? It's sausage, ground meat, chicharon, fried egg, bean soup, plantain, avocado, and rice. I don't think anyone leaves hungry. #GoodEats

The street was nice, lush and quiet. Walkable to some restaurants. Breakfast was included and had good options. Uber and taxi were easy to take to locations around the city. The room was comfortable and the lobby provided a nice hang out spot. Staff was friendly.
