The room felt stuffy all day all night long even with the AC, fan and windows open. The bathroom is full of mold. The bathroom sink is leaking. They gave you ripped up towels etc They’re construction next door and they start at 6:30-7 AM. You can hear loud noise late in the middle of the night. The person who supposedly gave me the passcode for the room harassed me from the time I arrived at the airport trough texts messages about security deposit and cleaning fee.

This is the 2nd time I rent in this building and I’m loving it. From the host to the security guy, every body is very friendly and helpful. Yes, there’s not a reception but there’s a security guy watching the entrance 24/7, so it is very safe. The apartments are very comfy with ac on each room and I’m looking to rent the whole floor next time I come with some friends. The Manila area is very accessible by foot. Restaurants, bars, pharmacy, spa, barbershop, grocery stores, etc. It’s also very close to Poblado so it is the sweet spot to stay.

The place to be!

If you like to be treated like family, stay here. Barry and his team are there for you. They keep the place fresh and nice. You are near anything you need. Super Market's tons of dining options, all within seconds to minutes walk. If you are alone, or with a group, you are solid. They have security and keep the place safe. Rooms are big enough with full size fridge. You like hot water, you got it. If you like to be near the nightlife, it is 1.75 USD Uber away or a 10 min. walk. Enjoy! This is my go to when I am in town. Excellent value for money.

O apartamento é ótimo e foi basicamente como planejei. O bairro de El Poblado é lindo e super seguro. FIcamos uma semana e não tivemos problema algum, principalmente com barulhos, seja da rua ou de vizinhos, e olha que estava com praticamente todos os quartos alugados. prós: ótimo preço, uma ótima localização, conforto e segurança e facilidade para chekin antecipado (o que nos salvou). contras: a comunicação com o anfitrião é um pouco deficitária (demorando a responder), as cortinas não são totalmente blackout, então entra um pouco de claridade no quarto, os sacos de lixo não ficam nos apartamentos, ou você os compra ou pede aos seguranças, o apartamento conta com poucas panelas e utensílios de cozinha e os canais de tv a cabo são bem limitados. No mais foi tudo perfeito e muito provavelmente irei voltar ano que vem.

So so, wanted to like it more. Good neighborhood.

The neighborhood was perfect - many hip cafes and restaurants that were within walking distance. The apartment itself was so so: - the apartment is on the small end, especially the bathrooms where only one person can be in there at any point. The big jacuzzis tubs took up 75% of space and were unnecessary. - we could hear the neighbors talking late at night and early in the morning and watching tv while we were still sleeping. It was not that they were exceptionally loud, the walls and adjoining door just let all the noise through. We had a hard time sleeping through that. Also the other room had a loud creaking sound from the air compressor located outside the window going all night, also disrupting sleep. - the owners put translucent film on all windows. It felt odd to not be able to look outside but not a huge deal breaker

Always good ! Just relax and enjoy!

Great Experience as always. This is my favorite spot in Medellín, to stay. You have everything you need within a very short walk. Shops, eating, coffee, nightlife. Staff will take care of you as well. Hot water is great and great A/C's. Enjoy your time!

I am a regular here and appreciate the service i receive. Barry and his crew are always there for you. Building is secure with staff and is in a very nice part of Manila/Poblado. Plenty of restaurants within a stones throw. Laundry, little stores to the supermarket all right there. Short walk to Parque Poblado or Parque Llares for nightlife. Also right next to the supermarket is the train if you want to use that for transportation.

Priced right and good if you’re here for fun

I’ve been visiting Medellin for about 6 years now. If the place has a hot tub and it’s priced right - It’s probably one of Barry’s. This one in particular is very nice and new. They’re not going to nickel and dime you for guests, they leave you alone unless you need help of course. And they have security which is nice. Wifi worked well for my needs. Has a complete kitchen but I didn’t use it. Would definitely recommend. I’ve stayed at at least 5 of Barry’s properties and I continue to return. During this stay, I left my passport and had it returned effortlessly - big deal! Find comfort in booking here

Everything you want/ need

Great place!!!! New, nice, clean, safe, good location - everything you want! Clean place in a nice neighborhood with security/ without hassling your guests. Walking distance to Lletes and Poblado park. Hot tub is hot. Barry has done a great job with his properties and this one may be the best yet. Staff is nice and friendly. Truly a great place to stay, definitely recommend

The place was horrible. Bedsheets horrible, old and with stains. Pillow sheets horrible. Noisy until about 4 am, we could barely sleep. The walls need painting. Employees were attentive.

Overall a decent place to stay. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area. Plenty of shops To get groceries and supplies. No front desk or office and it was a little difficult to get a hold of someone but a decent place to stay. Would definitely recommend
