「Property was decently clean and the bed was comfortable. However, all the wood surfaces were sticky, not to the touch, but if you sat anything on them, it stuck. All rooms were full and the parking spaces are very narrow, which was an iffy situation with all the big trucks in the area.」

「Rachel at the Reception desk was incredibly helpful. The recent remodel is exceptionally stylish. The shower in the room was apparently spectacular - my husband has brought it up on 3 separate occasions. I’ve stayed in numerous places in Shamrock on cross country roadtrips - this is your best bet hands down.」

「A very simple, clean, efficient, spacious, well located place. I was very pleased, especially for the price. This town is a tiny Route 66 town with a gorgeous old gas station across the street with neon, and a great steak place right behind. This motel is also historic. Plenty free parking, visible from the room. AC worked. Hot water. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee. I didn't use the wifi but it was available. I recommend if you're going to be in town. 」

「The room was tiny. No room to walk around the bed and bathroom was worse. The floor of our room needs to be swept and mopped. Our socks were so dirty from just walking in the room. It is a very old facility with no upkeep or upgrades. Reminds me of the old motels one would pay $25-30 tops. 」

「The floor was dusty (but this is northern Texas with high winds) so it was expected. Staff was friendly and helpful (both afternoon and morning staff). The breakfast was filling with options and they changed the menu each day. We had control with the air conditioning so we were able to change from cooling to heating with the change of the weather. Overall was acceptable for a place to stay for a couple of days. 」
