The room was clean and tidy, the Air conditioner worked well and the bathroom was also clean with plenty of towels. The price was right for our budget minded trip. There were restaurants nearby and a quaint Old Route 66 gas station across the way. The manager wea friendly and full of tips. We had a pleasant stay

Always a good experience.......

Stopped here with a U-Haul truck and car trailer. Parking is ample and very well lit. The room was very clean, neat, and comfortable, with a good view of the parking lot. The owners are a pleasure to talk to, and I make it a point to stay here on my numerous trips across the country.

This is my second stay at the hotel, my last one was in 2021. It's your basic route 66 hotel with the benefit of being right across the street of the conoco station that inspired a part the cars movie. Outside of that, the staff is super helpful. I had to make a last minute reservation, walked in, and the owner said "hey, I haven't seen you in a while"... mind you. 1 time. In 2021. It was a friendly surprise to a night that was going wonky.

Friendly and helpful checking. Older type motel with outside entrance doors and no elevator. Bathroom outdated and not in best repair. Desk chair needs to be replaced or recovered. Met basic needs and from we saw maybe best place in town

We are doing the R66 tour and wanted to a least one classical hotel. This is an old style motel but has been refurbished and has fresh paint and is very clean. Has to be the most value I have got for the price. It's not an modern efficient unit (has an actual key), but it is large and quiet. (Air conditioner may be a tad loud but goes with the decor). Strongly recommend it. No restaurant, but a couple within walking distance. And across the street is the refurbished Conoco service station - a must see!

The room was clean and the bedding was fresh and comfortable. The owner greeted us and was very helpful. He verified what restaurant was open for dinner for us since we arrived late afternoon on Memorial Day. Our room was on the second floor right across from the Conoco building. It was a great view before and once the neon lights were lit. Although the motel is older, the owner has done a lot to keep the place up and ready for Route 66 enthusiasts.

Clean, quiet motel that's dog friendly. Owner very attentive & accomodating. Grif's steak house directly behind the motel was excellent. The star of the show was the Conoco station, recently restored & just across the street, the U drop Inn cafe. Would definitly stay again.
