From the moment we arrived, Melissa greeted us. It was appreciated as we arrived later than expected. The rooms are clean and we had full control of the temperature. The location was perfect, we were walking distance from the casino, a scenic overview and a play lot for the kids. Breakfast was more than adequate with fresh Puck coffee. The staff was on top of the breakfast area, no one had to wait very long for warm food. Each room had it's own safe along with a refrigerator and microwave. ...

Third floor ice machine was noisy. Elevator bell is too way too loud can be heard down the whole floor. Still best hotel in Prairie du chien. Will stay again.

Close to train tracks so you will hear the trains if and when they roll by.

I liked the that the Buckhorn Grill was open. We had a 1pm thanksgiving meal with local family and it was nice to be able to get something to eat after 7pm.

Upgraded my room at no additional charge! I had originally booked a single queen room, but due to the location I needed a double queen room. They upgraded me for no additional charge! Rooms were clean and neatly kept. Will definitely stay again the next time I’m in town!

Upon checking in they had no record of reservation through Expedia. They said it had been an ongoing problem with Expedia. Luckily they had a room so we had a place to stay but I'm not sure I'm going to use Expedia from now on. We had a confirmation number but it never got through to the Motel.
