Beyond thankful for this place! I am absolutely returning and recommending to others. Why? 1) the location and venue is gorgeous and the amenities for paddleboard and kayak was a plus, the lake has a board to jump off, the coffee was delicious, the beautiful animals that greet you, the food besides being absolute delicious was super healthy and clean and beautiful presentation. The juices were fresh waters, the desserts and apps a plus. Lost but not least the people were very helpful when I...

I liked the Forrest and excellent service

This is amazing hotel. The service is top quality. Employees are friendly and very helpful. We stayed at a room with king bed. It's three times the size of a regular hotel room. Our room was overlooking the lake behind the reception. Behind the water is an amazing forest view. I preferred it to the rooms overlooking the bigger lake on the other side of the property. You can relax in the hot tub watching the forest, listening to the howling monkey shout. Such a unique experience.. If you are a...

We loved out stay at Casa de Don David! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were comfortable for our visit to Tikal. The food was also delicious. The staff helped us arrange a driver for airport pickup and dropoff as well as transportation to and from Tikal. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and close to pharmacy, restaurant, and bakery. They also helped with my airport transport early in the morning. Overall, very comfortable and convenient!

Property was right in front of entrance to Tikal, overall great service, they have complimentary water in room, guided tours were friendly but the restaurant food was alright could be better but overall the experience was amazing! Great sense of nature and the outdoors!

Beautiful setting for a hotel, on the beach of Lake Peten Itza and inside the Guatemalan rainforest! You can see and hear howling monkeys on the way to your room! Staff service was great, food was delicious!

The rooms need a little bit of cleaning

We stayed at Posada del Cerro for four nights, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The cabin is in a beautiful location with the lake right in front, offering breathtaking views every day. Waking up to the peaceful scenery and enjoying the sunsets by the water made our stay truly special. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and disconnect, while still being close enough to enjoy the local...

Had a lovely stay here at the hotel. There was an option to include dinner, breakfast and a sunrise or sunset tour for $32 USD. I did it for both nights I stayed and did both tours, and felt it was worth it. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful. There is another hotel/ restaurant next door if you need variety of food. Be aware you must have plenty of cash and you must buy all passes (in quetzal cash only) to Tikal including sunrise, sunset tours, day passes to park and museum passes. It is...

Very hard working staff

We were very happy when we finally arrived at the hotel after a very long day of traveling from Belize City. The hardest part was the journey from the Santa Elena/Tikal intersections as the road around the lake is not paved for the last 10KM or so from the hotel. The hotel itself was nice and the staff were friendly. We were able to play at the pool and grab food at the hotel restaurant. The servers were there to cater to you but the service, over all was slow (not enough people in the kitchen...

We spent 2 weeks touring Guatemala, attracted by its natural beauty and the Mayan civilization. Hotel Bolontiku is one of our best part. Initially we didn't know that it's a hidden jewel on the lake. We took a taxi following Google Map. It is very wrong - the hotel would pick us up at the port of Flores! The hotel with 15 suites were built on the cliff, with each suite hidden in the trees. The view is fabulous. The environment is so natural and serene. Yet, we got high speed internet and...

The rooms were very clean, small cozy spot with in 5 mins walk of everything. The couple issues we had with the shower and water coming in from the rain was dealth with by the staff who was very friendly and willing to assist.

The whole property was amazing. I was available to upgrade my stay when I got there. Everyone was very nice & welcoming. I will come again soon I hope.

Great little hotel. Well located. Super modern and pretty. Staff were great. The little restaurant may look empty, but the food was really good. I definitely recommend if you are visiting Flores.

Great location, nice lake view. Peaceful. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful staff

Not too small. Not too big. But the rooms are nicely-sized. And while the hotel does not have central air conditioning, the in-room units are powerful, which is an absolute necessity (for me, at least) in the very hot, very humid rain forest of the Peten. The rooftop bar is a lively place to be in town, but it quiets down very nicely when it is time to go sleep. The rooftop pool is small, but (a) the hotel is not that big, it won't be crowded, and (b) it's big enough for cooling dip when the...

A cinco...
