「The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected... The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ 」

「Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste. 「Exemplary customer service and friendly staff - cannot fault them at all! Great dinner and breakfast too. Great location for anyone wishing to escape to a quiet fishing village and/or the local hills, whether for the views or watch the military jets flying low overhead (or below them!) Would very happily return and recommend! Highly recommend visitors also visit the birthplace inspiration behind Thomas The Tank Engine at nearby Tywyn Wharf Railway Station. 」

「Nice property. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the one night we stayed but the morning breakfast was good. At base of hill where harlech castle sits. Good exercise! Would recommend.」

「We arrived after an 80 mile bike ride and were eager to get a shower and a good meal. The team were expecting us and had the key ready; check-in was very welcoming and efficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Despite the restaurant being very busy (Saturday 8pm) our meals came without delay and were hot, hearty and very tasty. Wouldnt think twice about staying again next time we're in the area.」
