「Pleasant three- or four-storey guesthouse (to call it a hotel would be stretching it) on the steep hillside just a stone’s throw from Kutaisi’s Bagrati Cathedral. The location is both a blessing and a bit of a curse – the main market, bridges, central park and all the city-centre amenities are just 10–15 minutes’ walk away, but getting up to the hotel means a climb of more than 100 steps (or you can use the winding road). Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, but nothing to shout...

「The Grand Opera Hotel was perfectly situated in Kutaisi, close to all the main attractions and lots of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Kutaisi.」

There are large single family houses with gardens on the street and recreational park some 10 min walk away, it has a cable car which will take you down to the city centre in 2 min.
