We had a fantastic stay at Riad Nowara & Spa. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly riad in Marrakech, this is an excellent choice. The location is great, with most of the main attractions in the Medina within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. The highlight of our stay was definitely the host, Saber. He was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. He was easy to talk to, gave us useful local advice, and really made us feel at home. The riad itself was clean, comfortable, and offered great value for money. If you’re after an authentic place to stay without spending a fortune, I’d definitely recommend Riad Nowara & Spa. Thanks again to Saber for making our trip so enjoyable!

For the price, this riad does the job. Very friendly staff. But the room itself wasn't the cleanest (hair/dust) on the bed upon arrival, and room is very small. Pool isn't the cleanest either. I think the rooms differ a lot based on which you get, and they don't show you the smallest rooms in the pictures. Pretty noisy and not the best located either.

Super liebes Personal. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereit. Allerdings sind die Zimmer nicht so toll. Sehr hellhörig und das Bett sehr unbequem. Es wird täglich schön hergerichtet aber die Bettwäsche oder Handtücher werden nicht gewechselt. Er nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen. Frühstück ist auf der Dachterasse Mega! Super lecker und vielfältig. Die Dachterasse ist auch traumhaft, nur wird das Wasser nicht gereinigt. Liegt allerdings nah am Souk

I recommend if you part with cash to pay taxes and food do get a receipt, signed. I didn’t and the member of staff left basically with my cash. I had to pay it all again because the manager didn’t believe me. The concierge who left had marched me to the cash machine to get the money out because they don’t take a card payment. He then didn’t have any change to give me so he had that as well. The air conditioning was basic but ok. The breakfasts basic. Just upset that the manager is a very strong fighting woman. I had my grandson with me and I didn’t want his holiday spoiled. I left it as she wanted. So heed the above and you should be ok.

Superbe Riad à quelques pas du souk ! Personnel adorable, aux petits soins pour nous, toujours près à nous aider. Petit déjeuner typique copieux et délicieux. Néanmoins le Riad est très bruyant, les portes ne sont pas à la dimension du cadre de la porte, d’où le fait que nous entendions tous ce qui se passer dans le hall. Chambre très typique mais qui sent toujours très bon et refaite tous les jours ! Nous recommandons ce Riad à toute personne qui souhaite vivre l’expérience Marocaine à fond ! 🇲🇦 Un bonjour à Idris et Hamid qui ont été adorable avec nous !

I had such a pleasant stay here. Sweetest staff, nice room with both a good bed and a good bathroom. Of course not the biggest because it’s in a riad, but it was no problem. Breakfast was good and the interior was tasteful. Also a convenient location in the medina. Would definitely stay here again.

Décevant pas recommandable par rapport au prix de cet hébergement. Draps, serviettes, coussins usés déchirés. Problème de toilettes sans eau. Le repas était vraiment médiocre. Seule note positive le personnel et très aimable.

We enjoyed our stay at riad nowara. The Team was very competent. We faced kindness and hospilability. They made sure that we enjoyed out stay and guided us through marrakech by showing us good spots and streets to shop and eat. They made sure that we arrived safely back at the riad every night. The breakfast was also veryyy good. Thank you to the team hassan, karim and abdul and the cleaning staff.

I had an amazing stay at Riad Nowara & Spa, but what truly made the experience unforgettable were Hamid and Idris. These two gentlemen went far above and beyond every single day — always welcoming, always smiling, and always ready to help with any question or request. One example says it all: I had booked a hammam and massage that unfortunately couldn’t take me at the scheduled time. Hamid immediately stepped in, worked some magic, made a few calls, and somehow managed to get me into another hammam just down the way within an hour. Completely stress-free thanks to him. Hamid and Idris genuinely care about their guests and make you feel more like family than a customer. Their kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail transformed my trip to Marrakech into something special. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, but it would not have been the same experience without them. The breakfast each morning was also outstanding — fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start each day before exploring Marrakech. Sitting in the riad each morning with hot mint tea, fresh bread, fruit, and Moroccan specialties became one of my favorite parts of the trip. If you stay here, you are in very good hands. Highly recommended — and thank you again Hamid and Idris for making my time in Marrakech so memorable! Shukran Shukran

Such a good value little Riad! Was not too tricky to find, and staff were really helpful especially Abdullah who gave us a map and some advice on where was good to visit and eat and was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was basic but clean, had great aircon, and a little en-suite. The rooftop with the little pool was a lovely place to sit and sunbath for a few hours a day. This was also where breakfast was served and it’s lovely up there, although there was a slight bee problem when food was served but totally not the Riad’s fault as it’s outside but just something to note. Overall would recommend for sure.

Please note - 1. Room far too small with no ventilation because there was no window. Gaps under the door so no privacy!! 2. The door had to be locked from the inside with a bolt; and when you exited you had to bolt from the outside with a small padlock ! So anyone outside could lock you in from the outside ! 3. The room felt like a cell; no tea/coffee in room. Note - we booked and paid a lot of money for a standard double room. Not worth it at all !! 4. Cats fighting outside our room at 3.00 am 5. We were presented with an invoice for transfer, taxes and coffee for 320 Dhs. But then were told that was incorrect as they had a problem with their computer and wanted to charge us just over 400 Dhs. They could not tell us why the difference! Would not recommended this place to anyone; stay well clear!!
