Avoid dark moldy cave

The riad looks lovely on the internet and was very disappointing to say the least . Contrary ro the pictures it is very dark and gloomy inside . No windows or open air and light . Then they paint the walls grey ! The bedroom was only large enough to contain a small double bed and the room smelled like mold ! I have a severe alergy to mold so we stayed with friends instead of sleeping there .

Très bon rapport qualité / prix

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour , un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le personnel est au petit soin, vraiment très gentil ! Nous avions une chambre donnant sur la terrasse du petit déjeuner donc un petit peu bruyante le matin.. mais la globalité du séjour et l’accueil restent très bon ! Par contre 200 dirham la navette pour l’aéroport , on s’est rendu compte que ce n’était pas forcément une bonne affaire !

Je suis parti 6 jours avec 4 amis et réellement c’était fantastique , l’hôtel est juste sublime les chambres sont très propres et très bien décorée , le personnel d’acceuil est très performant et très sociable, nous avons sympathisé avant de partir c’était très agréable; Piscine petite mais une terrasse sur le toit qui nous fait largement oublier ce petit défaut, beaucoup de végétation dans l’hôtel ce qui est très agréable . Un coin tranquille pas loin de là réceptions allumé à la bougie le soir très relaxant J’ai déjà prévu d’y retourner et je le conseille déjà à tout le monde

Los gerentes muy serviciales y amables . El gerente Mohamed nos ofreció un té y pastas al llegar y se levantó un día más templano pada servinos el desayuno, la verdad que muy majos. Nos dio un mapa de la zona y nos indicaron como ir del Riad al centro y demás. Puntos en contra: El Riad está situado en un callejón que uno nos acompañó para llegar y nos pidió propina. La habitación hay ciertos bichos , a la llegada nos encontramos con dos hormigas en la cama vivas, y otro día en encima de la cómoda 2 escarabajos, en parte supongo que es normal porque era la planta baja pero nosotros no estamos acostumbrados a ello. La parte así más negativa es que según la reserva estaba incluido el trasfer al aeropuerto, sólo nos ofrecieron el viaje de ida , el de vuelta nos tocó pagar un taxi 10€, debería especificarlo en la oferta porque crea confusión y además ponía ‘traslado al aeropuerto gratis’ si es gratis es gratis. Otros puntos negativos, apenas hay agua caliente (el primer día me duche con agua fría y cuando la hay el chorro de agua es muy floja y darse una ducha a gusto como que no. Y falta luz en la habitación. Otra parte que no tiene nada que ver con el Riad, CUIDADO! con los niños y sobre todo cuando van en grupos , a nosotros nos intentaron robar en mitad de la calle de día y como no lo consiguieron uno de ellos se bajó los pantalones y otro me arañó en el brazo, es bastante desagradable esta situación

Wunderschönes Riad - bzw. Riads; das Hotel besteht nämlich aus zwei Riads, die miteinander verbunden wurden. Dadurch gibt es eine unfassbar tolle, grüne und blühende Dahteressae mit Sicht über die Dächer der Medina. In einem Riad sind die Zimmer, im anderen ein toller Innenhof zum Frühstücken; das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und vielfältig! Ansonsten gibt es sogar noch ein Wohnzimmer mit Kamin. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden immer wieder das Riad Khol buchen. Das junge Team vor Ort hat sich bestens bemüht und uns einen angenehmen Urlaub veschert.

Lovely Stay in Marrakech

Overall, I cannot fault this hotel. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful and would do everything they could to make your stay great. We unfortunately booked during one of the worst winters and the room was terribly cold but the hotel provided heaters in our room and bathroom as well as the air conditioning. Our room was spacious, with a bed, seating area, a small hallway and the bathroom was separate offering good space to relax in. Room was always clean but could use moisturiser as one of the toiletries supplied. lThere were two lounges, a pool and the seating area outside was gorgeous when the weather was great. I enjoyed breakfast, the fresh juice, tea and cakes they offered were slightly different every day so it didn't get boring. The only negative was breakfast timings, when they said breakfast should start at one time, they were a little late even when we had asked to have it early it still was not ready when we asked which isn't ideal if you need to catch a plan or go on an excursion in the morning.We stayed for dinner one night and had chicken tajine, although not the best meal we had while in morocco it was still very filling and came with dessert. Overall, great hotel and would definitely stay again with better weather.

Very disappointed by the overall experience given the price and luxury positioning. First of all, we were not welcomed by anyone and had to wait more than 20min to finally have someone show us our room. We finally got a small brief on Marrakech and what to do very late at night in literally 30s. If you are bored to help out your customers, please change jobs. Also when I asked for a taxi to bring us to another area for a 15min drive, the person told us that it is 100 dhs but we feel that he did not even try to bargain for us and just applied the tourist price (I.e. you guys can afford it anyway). Facilities have good potential but rooms are very dark and quite cold as well (came in December). Finally the location is in a small street that feels super dodgy at night. If you come with your dudes, then that’s fine. If you come as a couple, please be ready to worry for your safety the 5-10min you spend in the area trying to get to the place. Basically, would not recommend this place for a romantic stay. Wait, actually would NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

Wonderful riad and service. Great location, can walk to the souk, but it s not right in the middle of it. The only problem is to find it, Google map don't work for the medina. Have to pay a bakkish to someone in the street or take a taxi that we ll know the nearest "taxi station". 1 mn away from the riad but then u have the find the right lane and then the next one...

Excelente custo benefício

Riad muito confortável e charmoso. Quarto grande e reformado. Localização boa, um pouco complicada inicialmente mas depois você se acostuma e entende que é fácil encontrar o local. Apesar de os quartos serem bastante charmosos achamos que faltou iluminação nos mesmos, isso nos incomodou um pouco. A equipe é super atenciosa, mas achamos que o café da manhã era sempre demorado, talvez por ser um riad e ter poucas pessoas trabalhando... Mas fora isso, o hotel é incrível. Decoração maravilhosa e muito confortável. O preço que pagamos valeu demais!!!

Gothic Riad

I loved most things about the Riad. The room was painted black and gave it a very Gothic ambience. The roof terrace had many different areas and was very private. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and breakfast was OK. The only negative thing I can comment on was not so much the location but actually finding the place. I got lost every time I left and resigned myself to paying some "helpful" local everytime I needed to get back. Saying that I would stay again.

Ønsker du en autentisk og ekte Marokkansk opplevelse så kan Riad Khol anbefales. Vi bodde i en av de store suitene med egen takterrasse og fikk 1001-natt følelsen fra første sekund. Første kvelden spiste vi en god tradisjonell middag og frokosten vi fikk servert var også veldig bra. God service fra det hyggelige personalet.

J'ai ADORÉ le riad est très beau. Le premier jour Issam a eu la gentillesse de venir me chercher. Il a toujours été de bon conseil et aidant. Redouane a été un amour, même quand je me suis réveillée a 23h30 et que je voulais dîner, il ma gentillement accompagné au snack. Ménage fait quotidiennement, petit dej gourmand, ambiance reposante. Tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi. C'était ma première fois au Maroc , si je reviens ça sera très certainement la bas.

False Advertising

Not as advertised. Place is hard to find and rooms don't have TVs or air conditioning. Pool is old and outdated. Furniture is worn out. Breakfast is just tea/cofeee with some bread. Staff was some what helpful.
