Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Breakfast time is negotiable. If you want to leave early, such as 6:30-7:00am food can be made for the road.

Wonderful place, good location in town close to everything. Helen is an awesome person, host, and chef! Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we had everything we could need during our stay visiting Yosemite. Highly recommend staying here and we would stay again if in the area.

Perfect location that is quiet and clean and close enough to go hiking, walk to downtown for shopping or restaurants and bars. Helene is an amazing cook and made us delicious and filling breakfasts each morning. Would highly recommend and would be happy to stay there next time we’re in Mariposa or Yosemite area!

Pleasant experience at Yosemite Plaisance
What a delightful find Yosemite Plaisance was during our stay in the Yosemite area. Ron and Helene were such gracious hosts from the wonderful breakfast that is served in the morning to the trail treats they gave us for the day. We also enjoyed spending the morning chatting it up with them and their knowledge of the area was so helpful in planning our day. The room was super clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again on our next Yosemite adventure! :)

Great place in Mariposa!!
The hosts, Ron and Elena were wonderful. Eland would ask about our plans and based on that would give us hints and recommendations on what to see and do. The breakfasts were fantastic. Plenty for any appetite. She would also give us some sort of snack (brownies, shortbread…) for later in the day. We enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend their establishment!!!

Good breakfast. The owner is very nice. It’s not new but clean enough. No bathtub and TV. Each room can access from outside, so contactless with other people.

Friendly and welcoming
This place is a true gem. The hosts are very fruendly and welcoming. The rooms are big and clean and there is a big closet to hang your clothes. The breakfast is very good, we got eggs made to your liking and fresh baked bread and cookies every day. The drive to Yosemite is about an hour to get all the way to the valley but the drive is beautiful so it really didn’t matter. Lot’s of good restaurants close by.

A unique place to stay
This is really a unique place - in a good way. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with parking right outside the door. Downtown Mariposa is just a couple minutes drive, so we easily found two nice restaurants for dinner. Driving into the neighborhood isn't scenic, but the house is on a quiet street. And the best part is Helene's wonderful breakfast - a combination of fruit, a pastry and a hearty egg dish each morning. Getting to Mariposa from either the Big Oak Flat or the Wawona entrances to Yosemite is beautiful, although if Yosemite is your destination, you are over an hour from either entrance.

Great experience!
We enjoyed staying here. Mariposa is approximately one hour from Yosemite. The beds were very comfortable and had soft blankets and lots of pillows. The breakfast was amazing. We stayed for two nights—the first morning we had yogurt with blueberries, sour dough bread with strawberry fig preserves, apple croissant type pastries, eggs, and coffee and were given shortbread to take into the park which was a great touch. The next morning we had yogurt with strawberries, whole wheat bread with orange vanilla preserves, and elephant ears. We were given brownies to take into the park the second day. We also had coffee and fruit infused water with our breakfast both days. We would definitely stay here again—it was cute and safe. We loved seeing the animals in the morning and sitting outside in the fresh air. Clear stars at night.

This was the loveliest stay I have had in all of my travel experiences. The owners were lovely, really made me feel at home. Chef Helene made the most delicious breakfast and was Covid safe. Will definitely be staying again.

The couple who owns this place is really kind and gentle. The madam prepared such a lovely breakfast with cute plates and dishes. She also told us about some tips for Yosemite Park. The room is cosy. I'd love to visit here again once I come to Mariposa.

Most wonderful experience
This is the first time we chose Mariposa as the gateway to Yosemite. I'm so thrilled to be able to spend 3 nights with Ron & Helene as our hosts. The place is perfect for our family of 4 and we felt totally safe traveling during this challenging time. The breakfast was tasty and healthy. Will definitely come back or refer friends to support small business like this. The other huge added bonus was the Tesla charger!

We visited Yosemite for the first time and stayed at this B&B for two nights. This was a great decision. Helene and Rob are great hosts. The beds are super comfortable, and the breakfasts (and afternoon treats) were absolutely fantastic. They also offer Tesla charging which is a big bonus. We will definitely come back again!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The room was cozy & exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfy as well as the pillows. A small fridge was located in the room to hold beverages, etc. Every morning we were served a delicious, sit down breakfast. Our hostess was friendly & was able to provide information on the area as well as give suggestions on what to do & see. When we left, we felt like we had made a new friend. We definitely recommend this bed & breakfast & will return in the future when we make another trip to the Yosemite area!

We had a great stay and would highly recommend it. We were a family of four and the room was large and comfortable for all of us. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to chat with our hosts and other guests and we got some good ideas and guidance for our day in Yosemite. Very new and clean bedroom and bathroom. House is in a very quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of a cute town with varied shops and restaurants. Fabulous service and food
Ron and Helene are the perfect hosts providing everything you may need including amazing and big breakfasts and delicious treats. Our room was spacious and clean. We all enjoyed our stay especially our girls who found the experience fantastic. The B&B is located in a quiet street which is an easy walk to fabulous restaurants. I would definitely recommend!

The food was EXCELLENT, the room comfortable, and the owners friendly and personable. If you're a novice to B&B's, like myself, be aware that there will be quiet hours, but there shouldn't be an issue there either if you're looking for a B&B to begin with.

Excellent stay in homey accommodations
This property was in a walkable location about 90 minutes from the entrance of Yosemite (with moderate traffic). The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious (and made to order) and the hosts thoughtfully provided us with treats to take with us during our adventures.

Great Bed and Breakfast
The room was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I love the little French and Japanese touches throughout. The service was amazing. We really got the personal touch. We even got a fully-cooked French style breakfast! We were even given brownies for an energy boost during our Yosemite hike! The room was totally perfect for a relaxing stay. I love the fact that there was no TV in the room and that the refrigerator in the room had a freezer. The inn is located right on the edge of town so it was really quiet and peaceful at night.

You cannot go past this B&B. Very friendly owners. Amazing cooks. Breakfast was delicious and they even gave us biscuits for afternoon tea.

A wonderful BNB.
The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the host accommodated to our out of ordinary dietary restrictions, as well as pleasing my 4 year old with a special treat Easter morning. The owners were also very helpful and informative helping us make our Yosemite hiking plans for the day. Highly recommended B&B.

We extended our trip visiting the Yosemite area and needed a hotel in Mariposa. We read the reviews on hotels.com and decided on Plaisance. We were thrilled with our stay. The beds were so comfortable. The room was was spotless and breakfast was delicious. This was my first experience with a B&B and I was a bit concerned about privacy. The rooms have a private entrance and parking in front of your room so you don't have to walk through someone else's house until you head to breakfast. We had our best night sleep here. Highly recommend. :-)
