"This place was truly a gem from hospitality to accommodations we stayed for one day before our cruise sail date and i couldn’t ask for a better stay Location was central to port and downtown shopping museums and restaurants Hosts were extremely friendly and allowed us to check in early and stay late They even helped us secure transfer from airport at a very reasonable price And transfer from hotel to port This place needs 10stars !"

"Close to cruise terminal and close to restaurants"

"Excellent position for the railway station and promenade. Not too far from the cruise port but we used the hotel transfer which was excellent as it took us straight to the ship, bypassing the shuttle bus. Breakfast was okay. There was enough to choose from and it was good. They even had Prosecco at breakfast should you wish to have it. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Memorable Stay at La Casa Sul Mare Our two-night stay at La Casa Sul Mare was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Italy. Perfectly situated in the heart of Civitavecchia, this charming family-run B&B combines comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality in a way that makes guests feel instantly at home. Owner Loris was exceptional from the moment we made our reservation. He seamlessly arranged airport transfers, cruise port transportation, restaurant bookings, and provided thoughtful local recommendations that enhanced our visit. Warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive, he goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience and is always available to help. We stayed in the largest of the five rooms, which featured a private bathroom with a double vanity, daily housekeeping, and a balcony with a partial ocean view. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find a small bottle of champagne, snacks, and a well-stocked refrigerator waiting for us. A heartfelt thank you to Ambra, who prepared a delicious continental breakfast each morning. It was the perfect way to begin each day and added to the welcoming atmosphere of the property. One especially memorable touch was the homemade pistachio pie baked by Loris’s mother—an absolute treat and something guests should not miss. For anyone seeking a welcoming place to stay before or after a cruise, I highly recommend La Casa Sul Mare."

"This hotel is in a perfect location if you are just visiting the town, leaving on a cruise or returning from a cruise. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel itself was clean and the staff really friendly and helpful. The decor was dated but not terribly it was perfect for our one night stay post cruise. The beach directly across from the hotel is beautiful. The room has air conditioning which was great and breakfast was delicious."

"AVOID this hotel until Owners spend the money to install safes. We read other reviews that people had their money and personal items stolen but didn’t think it would happen to us. The problem is they do not have the air-conditioning on when you arrive and then when you are at the beach, the staff comes in and a large amount of money was taken from our room which was very disappointing as this was the beginning of our trip. The management of hotel del Sol should invest in safes and implement very strict rules to avoid guests having personal items and money stolen. The hotel is beautiful and right in front of the water, which is amazing and a 20 minute ride to the cruise ship stop but NOT worth it until they make improvements.."
