"We had a good experience here. We liked the heated indoor pool and the breakfast buffet. There was complimentary cookies in the evening and hit coffee and hot water to make tea in the lobby as well. I would stay again. The only thing that we didn't care for was the last night we stayed there there was a group of teenagers in the room next to us and they were playing loud music until 1am and running up and down the hallway. It was hard to sleep. The room was advertised as having sound proofed walls but even with the AC on we could still hear them. We didn't call the front desk to ask for help on the issue so I'm not sure if it could've been resolved by taking that action. Still, I would go back if we were passing through again. It is a clean, safe place to stay. "

"I love the Stargazer Inn and Suites and will definitely return here if ever in Monterey again. It was clean as a whistle! Note that some rooms have hard floors (no carpeting) so I'm glad I brought our slippers. The indoor pool was a highlight! The pool is salt water, though the hot tub seemed to use regular chlorine. Both were well maintained with no funky smell afterward in our suits, which I greatly appreciated. All this and the price couldn't be beat. Loved it! "

But since I paid $85, it gets a 8/10"
