Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"The hotel is quite old and could definitely use some renovation. Even though we had VIP Access, we were not offered a room upgrade, which was disappointing. The biggest downside was the complete lack of kids' entertainment. We specifically chose this hotel because we expected children's activities and animation, so this was a major disappointment for our family. We also had plumbing issues in the room: both the sink and the shower drain became clogged during our stay. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned every day, and housekeeping did a great job. The food was good, with a nice variety of options, so we could always find something we enjoyed. Overall, the hotel has some good points, but the outdated facilities and absence of kids' entertainment mean we would probably choose a different hotel next time."

Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. I went on vacation for a few days with my husband, the food and drinks were delicious- even the non alcoholic (I was pregnant at the time). I do wish they had more events in the evening since the pools close kind of early. During our stay they ONU had a 1 night party (not our scene) 2 separate shows of live music and a Michael Jackson performer."

"Beautiful resort and food was delicious. Buffet had a variety of delicious food. A short walk to the beautiful beach. Resort was maintained very clean the whole time. Only downfall was no designated nights like Tropical night, white night etc. and No bubble soap pool party lol"

"Pleasantly surprised by the recent renovation! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel's recent renovation. I stayed here a few years ago when it was the Riu Jalisco, and that experience left me with a bad impression of Riu hotels, which led me to avoid the chain entirely. Fortunately, I decided to give it another chance this time, only to find that both the restaurants and rooms have been completely renovated. At this particular hotel, the party never stops. The entertainment staff is great, and the Neon Party on Fridays creates a fantastic atmosphere that keeps the energy going. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family vacation with small children, but it is definitely one of the best options if you're looking for a trip with friends where the party never ends."

Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa - All Inclusive

"Here’s a version that’s under Expedia’s 1,500-character limit while keeping your main points: We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Punta Mita Surf & Spa and would definitely come back! The resort is beautiful, brand new, and very well maintained. Our room was spotless every day, and housekeeping did an excellent job. There are plenty of pools, a fun water park, and slides for kids. The food was excellent with lots of variety, and no reservations were needed. Just arrive around 6:00-6:30 PM for dinner to avoid long waits.Meraki was our favorite restaurant—delicious food, excellent service, and surprisingly not crowded. El Patio and Seaside Grill were also fantastic. Shout-out to the amazing waitstaff at all three restaurants!The Kids Club team was outstanding—professional, kind, organized, and great with communication. My daughter loved every minute there. Alex, our waiter by the kids’ pool, was friendly, patient with children, and always attentive.The spa was another highlight. Daniela and Alejandro provided exceptional service, and Brenda gave an amazing massage. The spa was clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing.My only suggestions are to improve communication about entertainment, as activities weren’t clearly announced and we missed Fiesta Mexicana after it was moved. Also, after a long trip with tired kids, the check-in desk isn’t the best place to promote the timeshare presentation.Overall, this is an excellent family resort with beautiful facilities, outstanding staff!"

"They had great options for food places. I would recommend upgrading to premium to get to choice where you get to eat for dinner & you get to go to the private pool. The other pool was a little too crowded, didn’t go to it once. Majority of the staff speak Spanish, it was difficult to communicate at times but not a big deal! We figured it out. It’s right on the beach & got to see beautiful sunsets. Theres AC and room was spacious for two."
