"Some things were excellent. There were plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas & trees. The resort had great beach & looked beautiful. Rooms were well appointed & clean. The children's pool was very large, lots of young kids + became very crowded, noisy + quite wild, by mid afternoon the space was messy with garbage, toys + not easy to walk through, with only a narrow sidewalk to get through the resort + was very slippery. We saw several adults fall. We have 2 older teens,16, who were treated poorly. We are a family of 7 adults including our teens, but they were consistently told to leave the adult-only pool, despite being very quiet & polite and easily fit in. The only other pool option was the children's, which really was not comfortable or reasonable for our family. It was odd how this rule was enforced, when the common sense approach would have been to keep the adult pool calm, with no toys and no children. Hotel staff were not accommodating & were rude. And by the way, minors despite alternate color wristbands had no issues with obtaining alcohol anywhere on site, so that did not appear to be the issue with liquor licence etc. Not sure why the pool was such an issue for them. It was a very beautiful pool. We did see some issues with guests being over-served. Food was ok, Good variety. Resort was a bit run down overall, buffet pretty crowded some days. The a la carte options were decent glad we got into them.No place to sit in evenings even tho lounge/bar open late, no tables."

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Puerto Vallarta and can’t say enough good things about this resort. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and has that relaxed, upscale feel you want on vacation. Great adults-only resort with a slightly older clientele but still very fun. We visited in mid-April 2026 and the weather was perfect, sitting between 26–30°C every day with plenty of sunshine which was ideal for pool and beach time. The staff really stood out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. They’re also constantly cleaning, so the resort always looked amazing. The nightly shows were another highlight; professional, entertaining, and something we looked forward to each evening. Michael Jackson show? Awesome. One thing we really appreciated was the availability of lounge chairs around the pool. No early-morning rush or saving spots, there were always plenty. Having “competed” for chairs at other resorts, this was a BIG plus. And the food? Excellent. The buffet quality was so good that we didn’t even bother with the specialty restaurants during our 9-day stay. The beach was great for walking, and we always felt safe. Our only minor complaint was the beds which are too soft and dipped in the middle but that’s small compared to everything else done so well. Just be aware that ALL mattresses in the hotel are the same so it wasn't just 'our room'. Highly recommend."

"Gracias a Hilda por todo la ayuda a la buffet! The hotel was great, except the food could use some work. My wife is Gluten Free and Vegetarian and the buffet was a little difficult to find food which wasn’t mixed with her allergens. But the staff, the room, the pool, the drinks, and everything else were great! Also shoutout to Lalo at the beach- he was very helpful for our surfing adventures."
