「Beautiful hotel is excellent location close to both the beach and old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool area was very clean nice area for evening relaxation. Breakfast was slightly disappointing but plenty of local restaurants available.. (Brunchit 5 mins away was the best I have ever had!)」

Breakfast buffet was great with various selection. We choose the seat at outdoor with tent covered. We enjoyed the seaview so much」

Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen das macht das gesamte Resort aber wieder weg. 「Heating insufficient and hotel did not answer my questions about that. Shower moldy and broken, we did not dare use it. Toilet unusable for a normal size person, the sink blocks you from sitting down (my wife was able to squeeze in diagonally). In general the room was in a state of disrepair and absolutely nothing like the pictures of the room we had booked. STAY AWAY」

「I suppose the kindest thing to say is that The Monkey Room is a "work in progress". The hotel/hostal is right in the centre of Marbella Old Town and although it sets out in adverts to be "chic" and "cool" it has a long way to go. While I was there a workman was on site preparing another cubby hole as a bedroom and I think my room was only half-finished. The nights were cold and only a single sheet covered the bed and, after moving my room to the one in the photo (instead of on the roof) I found...
