Great area, 2 mins from the boardwalk and marina, many shops within 10 min radius walking. Hotel is aging, and there aren’t modern amenities like usb plug ins, or in room coffee, but the staff are friendly, the pool is clean, and the price was right.

Beliggenhet var veldig bra! Service helt ok, men hyggelig betjening. Føltes ikke veldig rent, både toalettet, basseng og rom generelt. Ikke noe god mat, inkludert frokostbuffet, men en veldig fin og koselig kafe rett utenfor hotellet! Både stranden og gamlebyen var maks 10 min å gå, det var deilig!

Hotel El Faro in Marbella is all about location. Just one block from the beach and right next to the old lighthouse and the Duque de Ahumada promenade, it puts you within easy walking distance of vendors, shops, and restaurants—perfect for enjoying everything the area has to offer. The hotel itself is a bit dated in terms of furniture and appliances, but everything was clean and functioned well. My room had a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, sink, cookware, and utensils, which made it very convenient for a longer stay. The beds were a little firm for my preference, but overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant. If you're prioritizing location and value, Hotel El Faro is a solid choice. I would consider staying here again and recommend it to travelers who want to be close to the beach at a reasonable price.

Unfailingly polite and friendly staff. Would recommend the hotel were daily with maid service. Tea and coffee supplies in room appear ad hoc. Even budget hotels manage to keep supply on a daily basis. So a couple of minor carps, but overall a good hotel in a really good position with nearly all bases covered

Alles war eigentlich gut, aber was ist das für eine bescheuerte Geschichte mit dem instant Kaffee?.. Ich musste jeden Tag um 3 Säckchen instand nescafe betteln. Also im Wert von 5 cent. Tee war immer genug da. Wer trinkt am Morgen Tee?? Wenn der Kaffee zu teuer ist, nehmt doch den Wasser Kocher aus den Zimmern. Dann könnt ihr Geld sparen...
