I booked a hotel through this platform, received confirmation, and traveled 14 hours with my family, including two kids, only to find out upon arrival late at night that the hotel had canceled the booking. No notification was provided about the cancellation, leaving us stranded and extremely distressed. Such a lack of communication is unacceptable. Please improve your processes to avoid putting customers in such terrible situations.

They didn't give me a room in spite of having confirmed booking with my family. Resaon was given to me that I belong to mangalore. People who are 100 to 150 km radius were not allowed to take the room in Hotel ginger. Worst experience for me. I told them it's for the family not a bachelor. Staff are rude. Staff told me any local ID proof we will accept for booking. What do you mean by local ID proof? I am not understanding. Zero stars from my side.

Bad Condition

We had stayed for 2 nights at Ginger in Mangalore. The service staff was not at all trained or are just lazy. The Housekeeping did not even bother to wash or replace coffee mugs and glasses. Even used towels were taken from the room but not replaced. Inspite of telling the reception to send the clean towels they never came. The condition of the bathroom was bad. The basin had a crack and the WC was stained. Not at all worth for the rates we paid for a night. The towels and the sheets look Worn out and they desperately need to replaced.

Can do with a makeover and some investment

Condition of the property was not as expected from a chain hotel, even if it is a budget chain. There was a peculiar smell from the AC unit, which was also very noisy (Voltas, brand owner same as owner of the hotel!) However, the staff was very polite, helpful and hospitable

Yore tilstand fin med port og sikkerhedsvagter. Fin reception og spiseområde. Mange til ekspedition og med god høflig betjening. Høj renlighed. Middagsmad var fine velsmagende indiske retter. Morgenmad var kun Indiske varme retter som vi sprang over. Værelser var middel standard med aircondition. Udsigt fra værelses vindue til nabogrund med slum bebyggelse af blikplader. Man kan kun komme rundt i byen med taxi, da der ikke er fortove og trafikken er ikke til at man går i vejsiden.

My stay in Ginger!

The reception staff were awesome. The dining staff and the housekeeping staff seemed a little apprehensive- I believe it could be due to language problem. They should be more confident and forthcoming! The security staff were very hospitable! Overall it was a good stay!

Rather disappointing hotel

Ginger is owned by Tatas. I had high hopes when I reserved my room. Unfortunately the place is rather run down. There is only 1 small elevator and the rooms have seen better days. I wish the management would do a renovation.

More apt for individual stay, not family.

Room was cramped while reception looked spacious! Could not understand the property design they had in mind. Room service was slow and staff courteousness was below par for such brand name. Looked more apt for official trip for single person stay, not for families. Location was decent as it's away from city streets and close to beaches. Ideal if you have your own vehicle to roam around. Overall I will rate it as average or below average.
