"A beautiful apartment where is steps away from the waterfront, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. However; we had to climb approximately 4 flights of stairs with luggage when checking in. Upon checking out a couple showed us a ramp to go down the Main Street and we wish we could know it earlier. The ramp is right across the Coop supermarket. "

"I thought the pictures of this place was very miss leading!!! Very outdated. The directions were not helpful and we were asking around the buildings where this place was and no one knew. If you’re on a budget then it’s ok but I wouldn’t stay again… it needs lots of updates! "

"This place is all about the view. Stunning. But you will have to walk up a billion stairs (or a long, steep ramp) to get there. True for most places in Manarola, but could be hard for those with mobility issues. It was a nice touch they provided a light breakfast for the first morning. The lack of a/c was rough, despite the sea air. It was very humid. Ceiling fans did help some. The water pressure in the shower was the best in Italy. "Very nice place, 10 min bus ride from the train station. Quiet and peaceful and close to different hiking trails. Antonella makes the best capuchino and the breakfast is prepared fresh every day."

"The property was beautiful, the views spectacular. We only stayed one night, and I was really sad, I would've liked to have been able to stay longer. The breakfast could've used more options other than 4 different kinds of cake and a few cold cuts. Staff was wonderful."

This 14th-century Gothic-Ligurian church boasts a sandstone façade and rose window above Manarola. Climb to its elevated position for breathtaking coastal views and admire the Baroque interior with its Virgin Mary triptych.
Colorful houses cling to steep cliffs above a small harbor where you can swim in crystal-clear waters. Follow the famous Sentiero Azzurro coastal path to neighboring villages, then sample local wines at harborside cafes as the sun sets.
Great location in Manarola - far enough up the street so that few tourists pass by. Balcony was wonderful in the mornings. Check-in/check-out was easy. Internet only worked upstairs, the only small TV was downstairs in the bedroom, and we really wished the bed was softer (hard compared to US rentals). After seeing all 5 towns, we would stay in Manarola again, and would rent Le Coste again.

The property was beautiful, it was the most amazing view and most comfortable stay we had in our trip to Italy. The walk to the hotel is worth it. Keep in mind that if you stay during Orange weather warning period all shops close so you will need to find food in another city. That said this place is still worth it !

What a lovely place to stay! Manarola is small and there weren't a lot of options as it really is a residential town. The owner met us when we got there and took us up to our newly renovated room. Our window overlooked the street on route to the water as well as the water. It was GREAT! We could see all the pastel buildings and the crystal blue water! Everything was new in the room and bathroom. Just know ahead of time that you must pay in cash- they don't take credit cards. There is an ATM in...

To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful

I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Spezia, Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Short car drive to catch the ferry or train! House has a beautiful Mountain View, Italian breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom but most importantly, staff was very welcoming and gave us amazing tips as to how to make the most of our short stay in La Spezia. We will be back!

Wow. Amazing. Beautiful. I can't say enough great things about this hotel/ bed and breakfast and the wonderful people who run it. A converted mansion with just a few rooms, it was amazing. Beautiful garden with a fountain, roses, an aviary. House and garden is filled with artwork. It was more like staying at a mansion or a museum than a hotel. Our hostess there was gracious and helpful. She even drove us herself when we couldn't get a taxi. By far the best accommodations I have ever had in all...

This was such a lovely little place in Riomaggiore! The accommodations were comfortable and Andrea went out of his way to welcome us and even carried our luggage up all the stairs for us! This whole area is VERY hilly and there are LOTS of steps everywhere, so be prepared for a great leg workout!
