「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Had a very nice stay at Neil's B&B on the way to the Scottish Borders. I was travelling alone with the dog and our single room was comfortable and with a lovely view. My late check in was managed professionally and breakfast was a nice treat. Would definitely recommend.」

「The price does not aling with the hotrl. Overall, Dirty, run-down, smells like mould, the incense burning in the common area helps reduce the smell but made our clothing smell like incense. It was priced as a 5 star hotel, but its a one star. The staff are friendly.」

「The Corran was a very spacious , clean. And well appointed accommodation. To get to dinner we used the local ferry which was only a 2 min walk away and free for seniors. The ferry runs about every 10 mins and is very convenient. Breakfast food was available in the fridge and was good. We had a bit of a challenge with the obtaining the key from the lockbox beside the door but once we figured outvhoe it opened it was fine.」

「This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.」
