「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「After staying at this hotel, I developed many red itchy bumps on my skin, which makes me feel that the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. I was very uncomfortable during my stay. In addition, I don’t think the pricing was fair. The listing stated that the charge for each dog should be £10 per night, but I was charged £20 per dog.」

「This is such a cute property! Great value for the price and the location is very convenient. There is a ferry you can board for free right next to the bunkhouse to go across the loch and have dinner. Such a fun experience! The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. 」

「Modern, clean and very well run. Lovely views from the front (once the rain stopped…) Bed was a little tired and the walls were thin enough to hear the TV in the room next door. The guest directly above my room dragged their chair over the solid wood floor several times, which was irritating, but hardly the hotel’s fault. Good value though, which coming from a Yorkshireman, is high praise…」

「Spent my weekend at the Ariundle Centre Bunkhouse in mid September. The place was busy enough, but not crowded. Met friendly people, enjoying a variety of activities. Made a new friend. Really appreciated the helfulness of the Ariundle Centre volunteers. After my first night, I discovered I had acquired a screw in my tyre.
