Our short stay at Duisdale House was delightful. The staff were helpful and always smiling! Their charm added to the overall charm of the lovely facility. Our dinner there was possibly the best of our ten day stay in Scotland!
Bread infused with whiskey and beer. Honey butter with bee pollen!
Absolutely delicious!

Great hotel with excellent staff. He room was clean and very well presented. Food both at breakfast and evening was to very good standard with nice choices. The bar stocked a good selection of whisky which suited me just fine. All in a great stay will definitely recommend and return.

very friendly staff here. it is very quiet on this section of the Isle, but you are close to everywhere you will want to go. the property has plenty of parking. it is a historic, older property, so the is no AC or lift. the breakfast room is really nice and a good spot to rest in the AM.

This is a great hotel and would stay there again. Only complaint is pictures on expedia do not match the assigned room. Example, we booked a room with a clawfoot bathtub that also had more windows. The front desk staff acknowledged the pictures do not match the rooms. Overall, great property.

Hugely overpriced for the standard of accommodation and quality of food on offer. Rooms and dining area cold as heating was not on, although these issues were addressed once I complained. I struggle to see how it has 2 AA rosettes having eaten in multiple fine dining restaurants. The following night we ate at the Old Manse of Blair which also holds 2 AA rosettes and the gulf in quality, favour and service was laughable - the AA should revisit! The rooms are a mish mash of styles and tired. I would have felt short changed if I’d only paid half the room rate. As for the staff, there was one particular gentleman who was rude and abrupt to some feedback on the cod and a number of staff who seemed to have little idea of how to work in the hospitality industry. The exception was the newest member of staff - she is what the others should aspire to. Whilst the manager did address the issue of heating or lack thereof, the point is a customer should not have to check in to a cold room having paid nearly £270 for the night and then ask repeatedly for something to be done.

Great hotel, with a beautiful property. The building is a bit dated and a few more reasonable dining options would be welcomed. There is only a fine dinning restaurant on the property. But overall a good stay.

Stunning location with a private pebbled beach, the hotel was beautiful huge rooms gorgeous decor throughout, the staff kept the log fires going all day to add to the cosy Scottish charm. Plenty of sofas to curl up on with a drink. The staff were exceptional, Vish on reception, Micheal in the bar and all the other staff couldn’t do enough for you and made my birthday a truely special day.

Our dog friendly room was on the 3rd floor with a colourful skylight. It was spotless and pitch black at night which was amazing. The staff always had a smile on their face and were more than happy to provide recommendations for things to do or places to go. The breakfast was superb. The square sausage was delicious. The dinner was tasty although the menu, for me, was fancier than it needed to be but was lovely
