The hotel is at the heart of the city centre. It is really convenient to park your car and walking around. The shops also nearby and you can always find something interesting. We enjoyed our short vacation very much.

The Explorer Hotel very near to Shopping malls , all walking distant about 5 min to 10 min . Very lively area n a lots of food around the hotel and also nearby McDonald opens 24 hrs. Hotel room is ok except the toilet is smelly although the toilet is clean. Something to do withthe smelly floor trapped. Hope hotel can improve n get rid of this stink smell.

Good location

It was a good stay. Comfortable, clean, convenient locations to malls and tourist attractions. The Wi-fi was fast too. However, the overall breakfast can be improve.

Good locale and decent room facilities.

Locale is good. Short distance to the fame Jonker Street and Mahkota/Pahlawan shopping malls. Room size a bit small but okay for couple, the bedsheet is clean. But the sink tap is leaky. Will need repair. Otherwise, no complain.

First night arrival and experienced the water spray cannot be stopped after pressing to wash up and the staff came in without removing shoe which blackened the floor cloth. I felt uncomfortable and ask for change of room then this process is fast. Value wise is good and sleep was ok.

Although room are small, but the bed, the things provide and the design can set as 5 star hotel already! If u sleep after 11 pm, the sound is no more already, I can sleep from night to morning directly, no any ghost also la hahahahhah, the best hotel for me to choose in joker walk

Comfortable stay value for money

Comfortable stay and value for money. Great location as it is near shopping mall in town area. Overall cleanliness is Great except someone stick personal things on wall (yulk). Add 1 more dustbin in the room will be better. Slightly noisy at night.

The photo doesn't really reflect the hotel room. Small room and doesn't feel so comfortable inside, felt more like Hostel. The pathway from the lift to the room is without aircond. Toilet and cleanliness was acceptable. Receptionist is friendly and nice.

Weekend Getaway

This property used to be my favorite. I had stayed here a few times but this time it was AWFUL. Rooms were dirty, Dusty and not cared for, The room provided was without any view and faced an alley way where waste bins were kept. The amenities - Shower was BROKEN. NO SOAP. The coffee / tea sachets though complementary never had normal tea. Only Green Tea. The Breakfast was basic, Can get better breakfast opposite or at McD's. The room service was as good as non-existent as nobody every came to address these issues. Not sure if Hotels.com has any way to address this but I wouldn't consider going here again. OVERALL : DISSAPPOINTED,,,,
