Boutique hotel that requires touch up
The overall experience here is not as expected as the photo showed but still considered acceptable. The rooms are pretty worn out and aged, some touch up would be great. Also, for those with noise concerns, this is not a recommended place as the sound proofing within the room is poor, we could easily hear people passing by walking and talking. There is not much privacy as well as any chit chats inside the room is easily listened from the corridors.

Not so good staff and rooms
The stay at Swiss Heritage was unpleasant due to rude staff attending to us. Not only there was shortage of breakfast but we had to wait for sometime before the food was replenished. No one from the staff had courtesy to inform us to wait. On top of that mosquitoes were in some rooms which we booked. Although the location is just next door to Jonker Street, insufficient parking is a havoc. We also couldn’t get Grab or taxis due to congestions near the hotel area.

Very good location, has a back entrance straight to Jonker Walk. Near bus pick up point as well. The housekeeping is timely, and check in/ reception counter is always very helpful

Near to most of Malacca attraction.
Overall I enjoyed staying. Very near to most of Malacca attraction, within walking distance. However the food around the area is over rated. I managed to find much better food by Grab.

Cozy and Good location.
The hotel was nice and cozy. The Toilet tiles were dirty with black stains. Good location as Its few min walk from Jonker Street. The breakfast was okay.

Very good location for all attractions.
Walking distance to most attractions. Very good location. Located exactly at Jonker Street. We booked total 2 rooms; one is family suite - loft style which with a double bed and 3 single beds and 2 bathrooms very spacious can accommodate a big group.

Best Breakfast
Very nice stay, the staff are super helpful, room very good & so spacious for the price. It is still a fair bit of walking once you start walking from Hard Rock Cafe (which is like the entrance of Jonker Street) but the hotel is at the back street of Jonker Street and at the far end or almost towards the end of that street.

Super near to Jonker. Good location.
Very Good Location. Go out by the back door and Jonker street is there. Stay in the Family Deluxe Room with two queen beds. Very Spacious. Breakfast limited choices, suggest walk to Jonker and eat. Please expect to pay RM50.00 for deposit (Refundable) and heritage tax of RM2.00 per room per night. Wifi was ok. Room was cleaned up everyday. The only down side is that the door is too light. Can hear slamming sound when everyone close their doors.

Strategically-located around Jonker
Second time staying at this hotel. On the first occasion, everything was just great. This time, flush not powerful enough, no hot water, weak wifi. But the technician who came by to assist us on our aircon was really friendly. Suggest if you cannot live without a water heater, don't stay at this hotel. It was alright for me though, cause Malacca's weather was too hot, heater also not exactly essential. But my companion was complaining too much. :) Other than that, it is so near to Jonker! and it is not noisy too. Will stay again on my next trip in October '16! :):)

Overall a pleasant stay
Location is good, just a 2-minute walk to jonker. Good that hotel provides parking facility as parking is an issue in the one-way historical site. Room is cosy, neat and clean for 3 pax; shower and toiletries are good too. Only complaint is the checkin process; the receptionist insisted that I have to call the portal as they did not receive a confirmation from hotels.com though I presented the printed email from the portal; after some negotiation, she relented and called (on behalf).

Everything was great except that there was no in house movies or excess Astro etc. it was boring to turn on the tv Malaysian tv is too boring and others were all in Chinese...so not so good in that ecpect

Suitable for budget travellers.
Stayed there for two days with family. Good location but there are better and more convenient options around. This hotel works for budget travellers. Wifi is very slow. Cannot make local calls from room phone. No lunch or dinner. Only breakfast (not included in tarrif). Offers cycles on rent to go around the town for sightseeing. Will arrange laundry and taxi upon request. If you are booking online, better to reconfirm the status after payment to avoid surprise at the time of checking in.

It was a rather last minute booking. Checking in was a breeze. Rooms were clean, comfortable but nothing fancy. Located at the end of the famous Jonker Street, there were loads to do there.

Bad experience!
The bedsheet and pillow cases were bad!!! All turned yellowish even after it is replaced a fresh sheet when i demanded them to do so, is still yellowish!!! Batroom not clean for family! If u want to park your car at the hotel, dont be deceived by the photos advertised in their website. You will be asked to park further dwn the road! My first and last chckng in this hotel

A hotel which close to Jonker Street
The room I stayed (Family Deluxe Room) is quite spacious. The room is quiet too so good for resting. But the room is not so cold because it has only one air conditioner. Also, the wifi connection is not very strong.

Staff knows what you need and would give you advice if needed but not as welcoming upon arrival. Walking distance was great to go museum and jonker street as well as the river cruise area.

Comfortable Stay
Hotel is at good location, everything is walking distance. We had a comfortable stay with the hotel (clean room). Breakfast on weekday is coconut rice, toast, cereal and local snacks (kueh), and buffet on weekend. For a low priced hotel one can't be too fussy (no complaints). Overall we are happy with our stay with the hotel.

The bed was comfortable however there were yellow stains on bedsheets and pillowcases. Drinking glasses were dirty, hair on basin, soiled pair of socks left outside the window and visible molds and blackening of wall grouting. Other than this, still had a great stay.
