Top Maizuru Park Hotel Reviews
Seikiro Ryokan Historical Museum Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is a beautiful inn at which to stay. It was incredibly convenient for access to downtown Miyazu and was only a short walk from the train station. The meals were included in the affordable price and were unquestionably the highlight. The cooking was incredible and provided the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese cooking while saving money on dining. Although the bathroom facilities were dated (1960s or 1970s), the rooms were beautiful, traditional Japanese rooms. The futon sleeping can be difficult for foreign travelers who are unaccustomed to sleeping on tatami, but I would recommend staying here for at least one to two nights if you want to truly experience Japanese culture and hospitality."
SIOKUMIHAMA Sea Side Villa HAMATSUZURI
10/10 Excellent
"The ocean view and patio amenities at SIOKUMIHAMA Sea Side Villa HAMATSUZURI were absolutely amazing. We especially loved the private sauna with a cold plunge bath, the hot spring onsen overlooking the beach, and the outdoor barbecue grill. The villa also has a beautiful full kitchen with incredible ocean views and was thoughtfully stocked with rice and unlimited TKG eggs—a wonderful touch! This was truly one of the highlights of our trip and the perfect place to stay while exploring the Ine boathouses and Amanohashidate. After a full day of sightseeing, coming back to the villa to relax in the onsen and enjoy the peaceful oceanfront setting was unforgettable. The staff were extremely attentive, welcoming, and respectful throughout our stay. The combination of the spectacular location, private amenities, and excellent hospitality made this a very special experience for our family. We highly recommend these villas and would absolutely stay here again!"
