「After a long flight, we were very happy to be able to rest in this beautiful place. The staff were all friendly and answered all our questions. We arrived quite late, 6:30pm in the evening. We ate at the Avalon restaurant for supper at 7pm. The meals were wonderful. The breakfast the next morning was wonderfully good and very filling, if you have the option to pick the breakfast included in your stay, I would highly recommend it. 「Our stay was an absolute dream! Lorna and Peter provided a one of a kind experience. Upon arrival we were giving a tour of the farm and grounds, then a walk through our cottage, which was clean, well maintained and full of activities. Lorna then invited us to check out the afternoon milking, then meet and PET the cows and then young calfs who were curious enough to walk over. 「Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. 」

The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great.
