The location and staff were fine, but the bed completely ruined my stay. The mattress was unbelievably hard—so hard that it honestly felt like sleeping on the floor. I understand some people like a firm bed, but this had almost no cushioning at all. I woke up sore and uncomfortable, and it made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. A hotel bed should be comfortable, and unfortunately this one was anything but.

Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. The lift is very slow when you call for it. Full Irish breakfast was excellent, great location. No car park linked to the hotel, but there is a municipal one literally across the road but no no concessions for hotel stay.

Hotellet er centralt beliggende i Kilkenny. God restaurant (aftensmad) og hyggelig bar med live musik. Parkering i parkeringshus 50 m fra hotellet. Værelserne er fint store. The hotel is beautiful and has an excellent location. The room was just average. It was very warm and had no AC. The bathroom towels are very poor and the outlet situation is not great. No outlets at nightstands to charge phones or plug in a fan. Pillows were nice.
