We were there at Easter and they were short staffed in the restaurant. Food was good but needed more options given the prices being charged. Breakfast was great. I was looking for a romantic overnight stay in Weymouth but wanted character, charm and good design, as well as the ability to walk out the door and go open water swimming in the sea. Steve was a great host, and our room was quite gorgeous. His breakfasts are just the best - and he’s got a proper coffee machine - we had seconds of our flat whites and cappuccinos. We’re definitely returning…."

"Good stay. The room and bathroom were clean and the linen nice. However the room was compact and the limited storage was full of blankets and pillows. There was a portable suitcase stand but literally no where to put it. The biggest problem was being woken on the first morning by noise in the car park and the second morning by the noice from the shower in the next room, it was extremely loud. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. "
