「Recommended by family that had stayed previously, so had to check it out. We got in much later than expected, but the front desk was very accommodating and very pleasant. The room was great for the 2 of us. Bathroom was a little tight for a chunky gal, but otherwise nice. Great spread for breakfast each morning. The motion detector door chime to alert staff that someone was at the front desk was ignored for 15 minutes while we were consistently activating it. We eventually had to call the main phone number and it took another 5 minutes before someone would come to the front desk to check us in. The positives were the room and bathroom were clean and it was quiet. The breakfast was ok with a wide selection of items to pick from...

There is construction still occurring and some was being carried out w/ loud noise into the wee hours of the morning. 「The room was clean the showerhead pencil marks for where they marked off to mount the soap dispensers so obviously shower has not been cleaned very well because I rubbed the pencil marks off with my finger. The rest of the room seemed clean. The housekeeping staff were very friendly. The gym was an absolute shambles. Every piece of equipment was broke tour. Something was wrong with it. 「This is a beautiful, well-kept old home. Todd is a great host and takes great pride this place. Our room was clean and very well appointed with lovely antiques, as well as, amenities including shower gel, shampoo & conditioner dispensers and a hair dryer. Breakfast was served around the dining room table consisting of a fruit plate, meats, cheeses, breads from a local bakery and a good selection of teas and coffee.」
