"We recently enjoyed a wonderful two‑night stay at Hotel Mystic Mountain, Nagarkot on 7 and 8 March 2026, and it was truly memorable. Although the weather did not cooperate enough for us to experience the famous mountain views, the exceptional hospitality more than made up for it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel’s facilities are genuinely world‑class, offering comfort, cleanliness, and a serene environment. Both the breakfast and dinner buffet selections were superb, with an impressive variety of delicious dishes. A special word of appreciation goes to Bal Krishna Shrestha, whose professionalism, warm nature, and thoughtful assistance made both me and my wife feel completely at home. His support and genuine care added a personal touch that made our stay even more meaningful. Thank you, Hotel Mystic Mountain, for making our short stay unforgettable. "During my stay, my wallet went missing from my hotel room. I had left it on the desk because shops were closed on polling day. When I returned to my room later that day, the wallet was no longer there. CCTV footage confirmed that I had taken my wallet into the room the previous night. This means it disappeared while it was outside the room. When I reported the issue, the manager (LP) said he was “not able to help” and refused to provide records showing who had entered my room while I was out. I also had to ask the reception five times before I was finally able to speak with him, as he was not present at the hotel during working hours. As a result, I lost $100 in cash and two important credit cards. Unfortunately, the hotel management did not offer any assistance, explanation, or gesture of goodwill to help ease the stress caused by this situation. I was very disappointed with how this matter was handled and expected a more responsible and supportive response from the hotel management."

"Had a lovely staff here. Room was lovely. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely pool and restaurants, amazing choice at breakfast. Near several locations you can walk to and explore. The airport collection was really easy. Good wifi in all areas of the hotel. Would stay here again and at other Barahi group properties. "

"Everything at Hotel Shanker is truly great. I really feel at home in this beautiful hotel. The staff are magnificent and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The architecture of this old historical palace is stunning. The entrance and lobby is so beautiful and great for photos. The garden in front is wonderful and the pool is terrific. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Shanker. It’s the only place I stay when visiting Kathmandu. I’m already looking forward to a return visit!! Thank you Hotel Shanker for treating me so well and giving me such great memories and photos!!"
