「The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. 「Lovely pub with rooms in a beautiful village setting. The rooms are fairly small but clean, cozy and looks recently renovated. Well appointed with all the things you need. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, with tea, coffee, juices and cereal also available. All staff were very friendly and helpful. This is apparently a community owned pub/B&B owned by the village, so deserves to be well supported. Top marks from me, and thoroughly recommended!」

「The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night....

「Ignore the unloved, unkempt garden that greets you. Inside is a TARDIS that is very clean and a good size with a large immaculate bathroom and generous bedrooms. Really enjoyed our stay.」

「Clarach bay holiday park was a really nice location. Ok for dogs. The position of the chalet was reasonable walk to the beach and club house. The chalet was reasonably clean but needs some serious TLC. Electrics too many extention leads and the RCD kept tripping.」
