「Nice easy place to stay, a step up from a Premier Inn with a comfortable bed and good breakfast included in my rate. About a 1 mile walk into Aberystwyth so bare that in mind if you have mobility issues. Staff pleasant and ample car parking.」

「The Pub has just been reopened after a major renovation and the rooms are like new. We were in room 1 and it has a lovely big comfy bed and a bathroom that you could have football match in… huge! Big bath and shower 2 sinks etc. nice food, friendly staff etc. All good!!」

「Exemplary customer service and friendly staff - cannot fault them at all! Great dinner and breakfast too. Great location for anyone wishing to escape to a quiet fishing village and/or the local hills, whether for the views or watch the military jets flying low overhead (or below them!) Would very happily return and recommend! Highly recommend visitors also visit the birthplace inspiration behind Thomas The Tank Engine at nearby Tywyn Wharf Railway Station. 」

As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste.
