The hotel was in a great location and the rooms newly renovated and attractive. The bathrooms were good and beds vety comgortable. The rooms need some basic equipment, like something to put your suitcase on, a benchtop or desk to put things on, tea making equipment.
Also more bedding. We had 1 very thin blanket and they had no more to give us. My room had the hotwater heater inside the room.
The check in process was a disaster, confusing and did not work. Too many confusing emails, messages through Expedia and through WhatsApp. We ended up checking in with reception, which is open limited hours. They use an app instead of keys, which did not work, so when we returned once our rooms were ready, and reception had closed, we had dig through all the emails etc to find a passcode they had also sent. On finally getting into the hotel, I walked in on another guest because I had been given the wrong room number and passcode. We were able to sort this out over the phone. Going on the conversations we overheard with other guests, we were not the only ones having issues with rooms and the key app.
The staff however were very friendly and helpful.
