We were okay with the stay. Basic accomodations with fridge, microwave oven and 2 burner electric stove. Not a resort. Right outside the hotel there is a neighborhood pub which serves food and has very friendly staff. Near historic center of Alcalá de Henares. Birthplace don Miguel de Cervantes. About an 1hour away from central Madrid on the metro which we used. Round trip for was €13.60. We would stay here again.

Sewer gas smell in room ☠️

First issue - was when entering our room there was a strong smell of sewer gas coming out of the bathroom shower drain. The response from hotel was “yes we know but look how clean the room is” Second issue was Hotel could not be reached by car. You had to park - public parking so good luck in getting a space and then walk to hotel. They did return the money without argument though.

aparthotel sin servicios, básicamente recepción, un par de maquinas expendedoras y la habitación... La primera impresión es alarmante, pues al entrar, se nota un olor a fritanga que tira para atrás!!! parece que procede del bar de al lado, que no tiene nada que ver con el hotel, pero comparten edificio. Sorprendentemente, al entrar en la habitación, te cambia totalmente la impresión!!! habitacion muy amplia, limpia y supercomoda, baño limpio y amplio y una cocinita con lo básico. Aunque la experiencia empieza mal, resultó agradable.

El alojamiento muy bien. Hay cerca un centro comercial con un Ahorramas, un Alcampo, una churrería y varios bares. Destacan el Hidalgo justo en la puerta, para bocatas y hamburguesas y el Lavadero para comer con muy buena atención .
